Amelia is here!!

Amelia arrived just ten minutes ago… 6:10PM Eastern Time. The labor was FAST. There was an epidural in process when Candy called out to the Anaesthesiologist, “I have to push!!” A short few minutes later, Amelia was in Candy’s arms.

“She looks like Noah!” Carolyn and Jamie agreed. “She’s a big girl,” exclaimed the physician. Eight pounds, fourteen ounces to be exact.

Everyone is celebrating… me from California. Check back soon for more detail, and photos. These just came from Jamie via cell phone direct from the delivery room (click on thumbnail for larger image) -

What a beautiful baby precious little Amelia is! Carolyn called Thursday and invited Chuck and I and Mom up to visit in Melbourne. My Mom is the sister of Carolyn’s Mom. When we arrived in Melbourne, Candy announced she thought today was the day and she was already having some contractions. We got to spend some time with Candy and Carolyn and sweet little Noah, who really took a shine to my Mom. It was such a privilege to be with such special people on such a special day. We left Melbourne to go back to West Palm Beach around 4:10 and little Amelia arrived two hours later.

Congratulations to Candy and Jamie on their new arrival! Sharon Lobdell

Congratulations Candace and Jamie! Janet and I are out here in Spring Green, taking care of Mom and Dad for the weekend. Mom was able to see Amelia’s pictures just now, and thinks she as absolutely beautiful. She was very interested to hear about Sharon and Luella visiting yesterday. It is neat that Noah seemed to make the connection bewteen DoraMay and Luella.

Dad is walking over for Sunday dinner, and he will see the pictures then.

    Best to all,
    Roger, Janet, and DoraMay.
