She’ll be staying in the hospital at least one more day. They’ve identified the kidney infection… the pain medication is intense, but working. Kristyn has a lot on her mind… Kate’s at home with Carolyn and the children.
We’ll keep praying.

We’ll be grateful for prayers for Kristyn. She’s had a rough week.
On Tuesday, the fever and pain were so intense, Ben took her to the Emergency Room. They gave her antibodies; and suggested that perhaps there was a kidney infection. We hoped that would be the end of it.
But as Wednesday passed, the fever (103) persisted and the pain intensified. She couldn’t stop shivering. Ben took her to the hospital last night. She spent the night there with an intravenous antibiotic. They gave her a CT scan. They seem to have identified a kidney infection. She’s been extremely uncomfortable, and unable to sleep.
Carolyn has been at the house helping with Kenny, Wil and Becca. Ben took the day off today to tend to Kris and interact with the doctors. (As a physical therapist, this is routine.)
Ben assures me that this is no time for alarm. She is getting good care. We’re praying for full recovery from the infection and that the pain will subside. I know you’ll join us.
I’ll keep you posted on the site as we learn more detail.
Thanks for your love and prayers.
Ken
